Schedule:
Students have Reading, Writing and Math instruction daily and Science and Social Studies two times per week.
My teaching partner, Mrs. Gencarelli, teaches Science to both Fifth Grade classes. I teach Social Studies to both classes.

Behavior Management:
CLASSROOM:
Room 12 participates in the DOJO behavior management software/web-site. Click on the image to go directly to the site . Students start each day with 4 points and can earn or lose points based on behavior, working toward a weekly individual goal of 20 points to earn "Fun Friday." The class works together toward a common goal two or three times in the school year. Parents receive weekly email notification of points earned/lost. Please remember to sign up as a parent on the www.classdojo.com web-site.

Students earn tickets for following the behaviors identified on the POD matrix which is posted in
our classroom and throughout the school. Weekly, tickets are randomly chosen from the school
total, and students choose a prize, extra Physical Education is a favorite.
